I Will NOT

I Will NOT

  • Have a big extravagant expensive wedding; I'm just too cheap and impatient
  • Go vegan; Just can't, it would offend my tastebuds
  • Have a natural childbirth; Why would I?
  • Get married in a white dress; Um, I'll be 36 in less than a month
  • Buy a brand new car; Yeah right
  • Go Blond; Nah, too predictable
  • Limit myself to dating one race; I'm going gray over here, something's gotta happen
  • Apologize for voting for our first Black president; I say it loud and proud, I was and will continue to be Ecstatic that my president is Black like me.
  • Condemn Ashley Dupré-the high-priced "escort" who got down and dirty with Governor Spitzer. Won't do it. Um yeah-$4,000.00 an hour is A LOT of money.
  • Make excuses for Britney Spears; I know too many moms (single and married) who take good care of their children with limited help; they do it without complaining, and they most certainly don't have money for maids, butlers, drivers and nannies.

The Good Book

This scripture (from the book of Matthew) is my all-time favorite, it's the last word... the Holy Grail, that I should have followed to guide me in relationships.

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine,
~Matthew 7:6
